b_TEC strives to create a cutting-edge campus in an attempt to turn knowledge into economic activity more efficiently and with a strong commitment to the local community

The creation of the Diagonal-Besòs Campus responds to the desire to establish a new hub for innovation and technology and knowledge transfer in a key area between Barcelona and Sant Adrià de Besòs.

The Diagonal-Besòs Campus is structured as a research park comprised of three parks in one: the Energy Park, the Water Park and the Mobility Park. As a result, it serves as the backnone of the project as a wholw and is essential for the economic develpment of the sector. The park aims to enhance the quality of university teaching, eriching the knowledge developed and providing this knowledge to buisinesses in the energy, water and mobility sectors.

The grounds of the Campus will span a total of 77.332 m² and there will be a gross floor area of 174.112,15 m² devoted to teaching, research and business to be used by universities and companies. It is expected that over 6,000 UPC students and faculty members, nearly 1,000 researchers and some 5,000 company employees will conduct their daily activities on the Campus.
